It was built in 1978, to accommodate the growth in this area. Beg. at the ctr. of 3500 S and 6400 W, then W to 7200 W, then S to 4100 S, then E to 6400 W then N to 3500 S. Enrollment Orchard Elementary serves approximately 715 students from kindergarten through 6th grades. 75% Caucasian 1% Native American 1% Asian 4% Polynesian 2% African American. 17% Hispanic Computers and Technology The school has a computer lab using IBM/PC equipment. The lab is networked. There are a number of language and math programs that are used by all grade levels of the school. We are online with the Internet. We have a multimedia lab. Student grades are available through the internet (3-6). Student promotion Students promoted from this school will attend Matheson Junior High and Cyprus High or Hunter High.
