Upland Terrace Educating Students" Extracurricular programs Many program are offered for student participation including:  Math Olympiads, and Creative Pursuits, Mad Science, and Safety Patrol. Classes are held before and after school in Presidential Fitness and choir. School background Upland Terrace is located off I-215 East, a mile from the 3900 South exit. Built in 1963, it is the third largest physical plant of all Granite School District's elementary schools. The school boundaries extend from 3300 South to 3900 South and from 2300 East to Wasatch Blvd. Most students walk to school, but there are two buses that serve students beyond the mile limit and those in high traffic areas. Enrollment Total enrollment is 578 for grades K-6. Population statistics: 93.61% Caucasian, 2.56% Asian, .91% Pacific Islanders, .37%American Indian/Alaskan native, .18% African American, 3.38% Hispanic/ Latino. Computers and Technology Upland Terrace has two computer labs for class use and at least one or more computers in every classroom. Five teachers access laptop mini-labs in their rooms to generate student-developed projects. Student promotion Students promoted from Upland Terrace will attend Evergreen Junior, then Olympus High School, or Wasatch Junior High, then Skyline High School.
