With our new building addition the school has 32 classrooms. We also have one additional classroom for two half day preschool classes. Hillsdale is a Title 1 School which helps us offer lower class sizes through hiring additional teachers and aides. Enrollment Hillsdale Elementary serves approximately 860 students preschool through 6th grade. We have a diverse population of students. The make up of student population includes the following: 25% Caucasian 57% Hispanic 7% Asian 7% Pacific Islander 1% Native American 3% African-American Computers and Technology The school has 2 computer labs. One lab is used for keyboarding instruction, internet research and student projects. The other lab is used for before and after school student classes and student assessments during the school day. Each classroom has 2-3 computers for teacher and student use. We have a sound enhancement system in each classroom. Student promotion Students promoted from Hillsdale will attend West Lake Junior High School and Granger High School.
