It was built in 1985 to serve the growing population of the Kearns/West Jordan area. The school has 26 teaching stations. Enrollment Westbrook serves approximately 665 students from kindergarten through sixth grade. Approximately 62% are Caucasian, 25% are Hispanic/ Latino, 5% are Pacific Islanders, 2% are African American, 2% are Asian, and 2% are Native American. Computers and technology The school has two computer (IBM) labs and PC equipment in every classroom. Classrooms are networked to a central server which includes network CD access. The network provides word processing, grading, information look-up and curriculum support. Ceiling-mounted projectors, sound systems, and a document camera are used for instruction.
