It was built in 1985 to serve the growing population of the Kearns/West Jordan area. The school boundaries are Beg. at the ctr. of 3200 West and 5915 South, then West to Bangeter Hwy., then South to 6200 South, then West to 4400 West, then South to 6600 South, then East to 3200 West, then North to 5915 South, the point of beginning. The school has 27 teaching stations. Enrollment Westbrook serves approximately 665 students from Kindergarten through sixth grade. Approximately 70% are Caucasian, 22% are Hispanic/ Latino, 3% are Pacific Islanders, 2% are African American, 2% and Asian, and 1% are Native American. Computers and Technology The school has two computer (IBM) labs and PC equipment in every classroom. Classrooms are networked to a central server which includes network CD access. The network provides word processing, grading, information look-up and curriculum support. Student promotion Students promoted from Westbrook will attend Bennion Junior High and Cottonwood High School.
