Mail-in registration forms sent to parents in May. One registration day is held for all grades approximately two weeks before school starts.

School background
Olympus Junior High School is located in the east area (Holladay) of Granite School District. The original school was built in the late 1800’s and a new facility was built in 2003. Students living more than two miles from the school are bused to the school. There are currently two buses transporting students to the school. The school has 39 classrooms, and 2 large group instruction rooms.

Current enrollment at Olympus Junior High is 840 students 89% of the students are Caucasian; 3.7%, Asian; 0.96%, Indian; 3.8%, Hispanic; 0.84%, Pacific Islander; 1.2% are African American.
Computers and technology
Olympus Junior High School integrates technology into all areas of the school program. Every teacher has a classroom computer. Many have a mini classroom computer lab also. All of our classrooms will be equipped with LCD ceiling projectors and teacher audio enhancement systems by the end of the 2008-09 school year. Olympus Junior High School has three computer labs with 36-40 computers per lab. Our media center houses 20 computers which can also be used as a lab. We pride ourselves in integrating computer technology into all curricular areas.
