The school was built in 1986 to serve the growing population. School boundaries are 5400 South to 6200 South, Cougar Lane (4800) West to 5600 West. Enrollment Beehive serves approximately 750 students in grades kindergarten through sixth grades. Approximately 53.98% are Caucasian 37.14% are Hispanic 4.64% are Pacific Islander 2.25% are Asian 0.53% American Indian 1.46% are African-American. Computers and Technology The technological structures are multifaceted consisting of a network system containing a lab of 30 computers and peripheral equipment, a work station for each teacher, and Internet access. All classrooms in 3rd-6th have full computer labs and smart boards as part of an EMITS grant. A home page is maintained detailing the history, demographics, and special interests of the school and students. Additional multimedia capabilities include CD-ROM, Laser Disk, and Hyper-card used to enhancement of student products.  Beehive houses co-op Preschool for preschool aged child.
