Notice to Parents of Students with Special Needs

Utah Code Section 53A-1a-704(10) requires that parents of students with an IEP who are enrolled in public schools be notified of the availability of a scholarship to attend a private school through the Carson Smith Scholarship Program.  More information is available at www.schools.utah.gov/admin/specialneeds.htm

Calling all Parents of Special Needs Children in Granite District

The Utah Parent Center invites you to participate in a special opportunity to voice your opinions.  Granite District is in the self-assessment year of the UPIPS monitoring process.  They want to hear from parents who have children receiving special education services in the district.

The Utah Parent Center will be hosting several community forums and bringing the information, suggestions, and concerns of parents back to Granite District to be used in their improvment plan.

To participate, please attend one of the sessions at the locations and times listed.  We hope to see you there!
