School background Bennion Elementary was build in 1977. Students live within 1.5 miles of the campus. Therefore, we are a "walking" school.
Library Our library contains more than 12,000 titles for student checkout. The community participates in a "Birthday Book" program.

Computers and technology Bennion Elementary has two computer labs, each with 34 new computers. Students are scheduled to use the labs twice a week for testing, instruction, and research. Each regular education classroom is equipped with a sound enhancement system as well as a ceiling-mounted projector for daily instruction. Because reading is a high priority on the campus, all students have access to Accelerated Reader as an extracurricular program.
Student promotion Students promoted from Bennion Elementary will attend Bennion Junior High and then Taylorsville or Cottonwood High School.
