School boundaries are north to 5900 South, south to 6600 South, west to 5600 West, and east to 4400 West. All students walk to school. The school has 26 regular teaching stations and 2 pre-schools. The school was built in 1985. Enrollment Jim Bridger serves approximately 715 students K-6. Approximately 62.4% Caucasian 2.24% Native American 1.68% Asian 2.1% African-American 29.55% Hispanic 2.24% Pacific Islander Computers and Technology The school has a computer lab and computers in the classroom.  We have five e-MINTS and eight e-MINTS for all teachers.  Students at Bridger are proficient in using computers as a tool to complete projects by the time they leave third grade.  We have access to the Internet and all classes spend time during the week in our lab working on improving technology skills, assessment, and special projects. Additional information Bridger is a participant in the Utah Behavior Initiative (UBI) Project. We promote a positive school climate and offer special positive recognition to our students. We promote a “Bully-free” environment and teach social skills monthly. We are also a Community of Caring school. We offer gifted classes for 1st- 6th grade.
