School background Rolling Meadows is located in the west central area of Granite School District. It was built in 1970 to serve the growing population of West Valley. School boundaries are: 3200 West and 3500 South, east to 2700 West, south to 100 feet south of 4390 South then west to 3020 West then north to 100 feet north of 4270 South, west to 3200 West, and north to 3500 South. All students live within 1.5 miles and are able to walk to school. Enrollment Rolling Meadows serves approximately 520 students from kindergarten through sixth grade. Approximately 60% are Caucasian 4% are Pacific Islander 29% are Hispanic 1% are Native American 3% are African-American 3% are Asian Computers and Technology The school has two computer labs equipped with Macintosh computers.  Students spend approximately one hour each week in the lab using curriculum-driven software including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, iPhoto, iMovie, and Inspiration.  In addition, classes use the computer lab to test their progress in academic subjects.  Rolling Meadows has seven classrooms with mini-labs which allow greater access to technology.  Students also use the Internet for a variety of activities and research.  Every classroom has one or more computer for teacher and student use. Student promotion Students promoted from this school will attend Valley Junior High, West Lake Junior High, and Granger High.
