Application process
Students submit an application which is obtained through the home high school counselor.

Extracurricular programs
Awards, attendance incentives, yearbook, literary magazine, graduation, canyon day, monthly cultural enrichment activity, etc.

School background
Granite Peaks High is an accredited secondary school that provides an option for Granite District students who desire an alternative to the traditional senior high program. The school is an all-day program but offers a morning or afternoon program based on individual student needs. An Individualized Study program is also coordinated through Granite Peaks High and is available for augmentation of credit.

Enrollment
Approximately 525 students are enrolled. How you get into Granite Peaks High: Referral to Granite Peaks High School is only made through the school counselor or assistant principal at the student's home school. Students must be currently enrolled in a traditional school prior to referral. Students are only enrolled at the beginning of the mini terms (six times per year).

Computers and technology
Several classrooms offer state-of-the-art equipment in computers, printers, calculators, software, and textbooks. Curriculum includes word processing, desktop publishing, accounting and business math. A computer lab is also available.
