First and second place teams of each league will be determined by their winning record in league play. The following procedures will be applied to break ties between teams which have identical records: (A) The winner will be the team which has the best head-to head record against other tied teams; (B) The winner will be the team which has the greatest number of aggregate points in all games played from teams still tied--see NAL rules; (C) The winner will be the team which has the best record against the highest position teams(s) in descending order until a winner is determined from teams still tied; (D) The winner will be determined from a single elimination coin toss with teams still tied. If more than two teams are tied, when one team is eliminated the process for the next elimination round will be repeated beginning with step (A).
The district final four will consist of the first and second place schools in each league. First place schools will be at home and play the second place school of the league in which the first place school does not compete during the regular season (cross league format).
In the district championship game the designated home team will be the team with the best record for all games played. If the records are the same, the procedures above will be used to break the tie.
Question topics for all tournament games will be comprised of composite subjects.
