These Lessons were designed by Linda Bolin, Granite District Mathematics Specialist, to assist teachers in using the 2006-07 Math 7 Core Curriculum Map. The lessons are numbered according to their sequence in the map. These lesson include engaging research based strategies and activities and have been used by several teachers successfully. Each lesson is designed to teach an objective rather than to fill a specific time period. Some lessons will take 90 minutes, while others take up to 270 minutes. Thus, there are four lessons in some months and eight in others depending on the time needed to teach the lesson. The lessons do cover the year’s objectives and have been taught in their entirety on the block schedule by May 1st
