FAQ
| Is a cash donation required? |
No. Invest in Futures focuses its activities around human resources. We realize, however, that schools need extra funding and cash donations are welcome. |
Is a formal document required? |
No. We do suggest that a Partnership Agreement be considered. Our Adoption Certificate is friendly and captures the vision of our Adopt-A-School relationships. It may be the only document you require. |
What are your expectations? |
We invite you to come back to school and find a way to help our students and teachers. You may choose to become a tutor. You may provide achievement incentives or want to play with kids on the playground. We suggest that you start small and let your partnership grow into a relationship of great rewards. |
How long do we need to be involved? |
We hope you'll become such an important member of our family that you will stay a long, long time. Most of our original partners who joined us ten years ago are still actively engaged in our schools. Partners usually renew their relationships annually. |
How do we get started? |
Call or e-mail Susan Wood at 801-474-1112. She'll alert you to the many possibilities and facilitate a connection with one of our marvelous schools. |
How do we recruit new partners? |
Consider who you would like to partner with. Consider your needs. Think about your students and teachers. Then e-mail or call Susan Wood at 801-474-1112. She will guide you through the process. Is it okay to say "no"? |
Yes. We surround our partnerships with a comfortable level of giving and receiving. We encourage both sides to ask, and understand that requests may be declined for a variety of reasons. |
Who gets the job done? |
Our partnerships are managed by business coordinators in the workplace and school coordinators at school. All activities are channeled through them. |
How do we get an Invest in Futures banner? |

Who pays for the banner? |
