With school boundaries extending from Emigration Canyon on the north to Olympus Cove on the south, along with the Granite Educational Cooperative students, and "School Choice" students, a rich, diverse population is brought together. This diversity is enhanced by the fact that 60 percent of our students live outside the school boundaries and are willingly transported each day by parents who strongly believe in our ability to provide a quality education and who commit to involvement in the school's educational program. Enrollment Eastwood serves approximately 480 students in grades K-6. 60 percent of the student body attends Eastwood under the "School Choice" enrollment option. The makeup of our student body is approximately: 94.5% Caucasian 5% African-American 2.5% Asian 1.5% Hispanic Computers and technology A computer lab is available to all students with 30 HP computers. The classrooms also have computers connected to a file server. We are focusing on implementing the Teaching/Learning with Computers model (TLC.) Connection to the Internet has been installed and is integrated into the curriculum. Several of our teachers have advanced learning in technology.
