Employment Specialists
Employment specialists serve students with disabilities or who are at risk of dropping out of school. They are are housed in each of Granite School Districts high schools.
Employment specialists provide training on job readiness, job related social skills, and job keeping skills. They also assist students, parents, and teachers in helping students transition from school to the world of work.
While they are NOT an employment agency, employment specialists often assist students in finding and retaining jobs.
Employment Specialists often support students who are recieving school credit for work experience.
