Questions and answers about dividing school districts

There has been much discussion about House Bill 77 that was narrowly passed by the 2006 Legislature on the last day of the session. The bill leaves many questions unanswered, and the district has received many questions regarding information that is circulating in some neighborhoods. In fact, the Legislature has established a committee to study and make recommendations for changes to the law based on several major concerns. The following questions and answers will be our attempt to provide the most current information that we can.
