Extracurricular programs
We offer activities in band, chorus, drama, computers, industrial arts, Multicultural activities, Academic Games, and others. We participate in basketball, volleyball, track, wrestling, cross country, gymnastics and other intramural athletics.

Hunter Junior High was built to serve the rapidly growing Hunter area, now part of West Valley City. Classes began the 1985-86 school year.

The school has approximately 1,139 students.
Computers and Technology
Three networked computer labs. CD-ROM research facilities in media center.
Student promotion
Students promoted will attend Cyprus or Hunter High Schools.
