Educator:   All licensed staff members Provisional Educator:   An educator with less than three years of service in their current position Career Educator:   An educator who has successfully completed provisional years of service Probationary Educator:   An educator who has been notified that standards have not been met. they have a specified time to correct deficiencies. Supervisor:   Those responsible for the evaluation of other licensed staff members. Formative Evaluation:   Those processes related to setting goal sand determining if educators are making progress toward meeting their professional improvement goals. Summative Evaluation:   Those processes related to determining if educators are meeting standards and if employment will continue. Lines of Evidence:   The data that educators gather to demonstrate that goals or standards are being met. Relicensure:   The process of completing Utah State Office of Education requirements to renew an educator's professional license.
