Enrollment There is approximately 900 students at Kearns Junior High. We have a diverse population. 41.40% Hispanic, 1.54% Asian, 4.74% Pacific Islanders, 1.78% Native American, 3.56% African American.
Computers and technology Kearns Junior High has six computer labs, including one in the media center. The lab is networked and is the backbone of our building wide system. The business and keyboarding classrooms have classroom sets of computers. These classes specialize in computer skills. The school Web site allows parents to check grades and attendance. The SynreVoice System notifies parents automatically if their student is absent.
Student promotion All Kearns Junior High students after ninth grade will attend Kearns High School.
