New Assistant Superintendent announced
Human Resources Director Mike Fraser was appointed to the position of Assistant Superintendent of School Accountability Services.
“I’m excited and overwhelmed,” he said. “The position of assistant superintendent over school accountability comes with a huge responsibility that I’m looking forward to.”
Mr. Fraser began his career with Granite School District as a student teacher at Cyprus high School, from which he graduated. He served as an assistant football and basketball coach at Granger High and taught numerous school subjects throughout his years. He also served as an assistant principal at Hunter High School and was later named principal of Hunter High before becoming the director of human resources in 2003. Mr. Fraser thanked his family for their love and support throughout the years.
“As someone who was educated in Granite School District myself and whose children have been educated in Granite, I take a lot of pride in the educational opportunities we give to our students and the quality of educations we provide for students.”
