Yearly Progress Pro (YPP) & Acuity

Yearly Progress Pro (YPP) and Acuity are two online assessment applications used by students and teachers throughout Granite School District. Both YPP and Acuity both focus on formative assessment, providing teachers with a variety of reports they can use to evaluate student understanding and inform their instruction.

YPP
YPP is an online progress monitoring tool available for math, language arts, and reading. YPP assessments should be given on a weekly basis. Based on student results and classroom needs, teachers can also assign students a variety of exercises to help them practice skills. Teachers can also use YPP to create their own custom tests.

Acuity
Acuity math benchmark assessments are available in Granite School District. These assessments cover the core math concepts that should be learned during each grade level. These assessments should be given on a quarterly basis as a pre-assessment and a post-assessment to track student growth.
