Birthday Books
Each school year new titles are selected
for our school library. Many of these books are purchased from
our Land Trust Grant and from your generous participation in our
annual Cookie Dough Fundraiser. Our school them this year is "Heroes
for Life." Our media coordinator and our school social worker
have a list of books centered on this theme. Should you wish to
donate a "Birthday book" to our library, please contact
Mrs. Carleton (librarian) or Ms. Johnson ("The Feelings Lady")
to obtain a title. A Personalized book plate will be placed inside
your child's book to acknowledge the book donation. We have a
very active checkout percentage. We currently have 12, 362 different
titles. Last school year these items were checked out 35, 979
times. Already, this current school year, 9, 285 items have been
checked out.
