THURSDAY   NOTE

MATURATION - The Maturation Program being presented at our school is State of Utah and Granite School District approved.  Parents are encouraged to come.  To attend, students must have a permission slip signed by a parent.  Students on Tracks B & D will have their program on Monday, June 16th.  Girls in grades 4, 5, & 6 will have their program from 9:00-10:30 AM, and boys in grades 5 & 6 will be from 10:40-11:55 AM.

 

EVENING PERFORMANCE - Wednesday, June 18th, Mrs. Tanner’s 2nd grade class will be doing an evening performance of “The Wizard of Oz” at 6:00 PM.  Everyone is welcome to attend.

 

LUNCH REFUNDS - At the end of the school year, on June 27th all remaining lunch balances for students will automatically roll over to the 2008-2009 school year.  This includes 6th grade students going to Matheson Jr. High.  The only exceptions will be students leaving the district or by written parent request.

 

PLAYGROUND CONSTRUCTION - The playground behind the school is getting a new automated sprinkling system.  The construction crew will be fencing off portions of the playground to work on.  Please be sure your students know not to go inside the fencing during and after school hours.  After the piping has been finished, there will be new sod put down to make the playground usable again.  Thank you for your cooperation.

 

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL - Students in grades 1st through 6th will have their last day of school on Friday, June 27th.  All students should plan to be on time and attend all days until then.

 

KINDERGARTEN LAST DAY - Kindergarten students will have their last day of school on Friday, June 20, 2008.  The week of June 23rd through June 27th each kindergarten student will come with a parent for a 45 minute assessment appointment.  Please be sure to make an appointment time with your student’s teacher.

 

LOST & FOUND - If your student has lost any items this year, please come check the two tables outside the office for them.  After June 13th all remaining items will be donated to charity.

 

2008-2009 CLASS LISTS - The last day of school, June 27th next years class lists will be posted on the windows just East of the front doors.  Those lists will be there until school starts on July 28th.

 

SUMMER OFFICE HOURS - The school and office will be closed until Wednesday, July 16th.  On July 16th, only the office will be open each day from 9:00-2:30 PM.
