FUND RAISERS DUE - Tracks B, C, & D fund raiser orders and money are due tomorrow, October 16th. All orders will be at the school for pick-up on Wednesday, Nov. 18th.

 

D TRACK LEAVES - Tomorrow, October 16th is Track D’s last day on track.  Students on Track D will return to school TUESDAY, November 10th.

 

DISTRICT OPEN HOUSE AT CYPRUS - Granite District has scheduled open houses for the Bond Proposal throughout the district at each network high school.  The Cyprus Network meeting will be October 21st from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Cyprus High School (8623 West 3000 South) in the breeze way.

 

BOX TOPS - The deadlines for turning in box tops for this segment of classroom competitions are Track D - October 16th and Tracks A, B, & C - November 2nd.

 

PTA REFLECTIONS CONTEST - “Beauty is . . .”  Entries are almost due!  For rules and forms for each of the eight categories, please go to www.utahpta.org/individual.htm  Utah PTA rules limit one entry per category per student.  ALL ENTRIES ARE DUE BY OCT.22ND AT 3:00 P.M. 2009 CHRISTMAS ASSISTANCE APPLICATIONS - Christmas help for families with children.  Applications will be taken October 6th through November 14th - 679 South Main Street.  An appointment is necessary to apply.  Please call 2-1-1- ASAP to make an appointment time.

            WHAT TO BRING:

$                      Picture ID for all adults. .

$                      Children’s ID - original or certified copies of birth certificates, baptismal papers or school ID.  Whatever you bring must show date of birth.

$                      Income verification - you must bring verifiable proof of how you meet your current obligations, such as your last two current pay stubs or a letter from your employer stating your monthly income.  If you are on TANF (AFDC), you must obtain a current CAP II and financial printout from your caseworker.  If you are receiving other assistance such as housing or help from your church, etc, you must bring proof of that.  If you do not bring something that shows how you are living, we will be unable to help you.

$                      Proof of current address - a bill or lease agreement.

NO ANIMALS AT SCHOOL - Please be aware that no pets are allowed at school.  Neither in the morning when dropping off students,  after school when picking up students, or in the classroom for show and tell.  Many students have allergies and phobias.  It is also a health concern.  Thank you for your cooperation.
