THURSDAY NOTE

C TRACK OFF TRACK - C Track will go off track on November 6, 2009. They will

return to school on November 30, 2009.

SEP CONFERENCES FOR C TRACK - With C Track going off track tomorrow, we want

to let you know that your online scheduler will be available for you to sign up

your students for SEP while they are off track. A letter was sent home with

your students on Monday with information about how to sign up. Your window

to sign up with the online scheduler will be from October 31^st through

November 30^th. (www.graniteschools.org/el/copperhills)

CHANGE ON THE LUNCH MENU - The November menu shows that the Thanksgiving

meal is being served on Thursday, November 12^th. However, because this is such a big

day for the Central Kitchen, they will be serving the Thanksgiving meal on 2 different

days. Copper Hills will be served the Thanksgiving meal on Wednesday, November 11^th.

Please note this on your November meal calendar.

SEP CONFERENCES FOR A and B TRACKS - SEP Conferences for A and B Tracks

will be on November 11^th and 12^th from 3:30 - 7:10. We are sending a note

home explaining how to go online to sign up for an appointment time with your

student’s teacher. The online scheduler will be available from today, November

5^th until Monday night (November 9^th) at midnight.

school on Wednesday for SEP’s and if you have a student in their class, they

would love to see you also.

NO KINDERGARTEN CLASS FOR A and B TRACKS - On Thursday, November 12^th

REFLECTIONS AWARDS ASSEMBLY - The PTA has scheduled their awards assembly for Reflections on Monday, November 16^th from

2:30 - 3:20 p.m. in the Multi-purpose room. The PTA will notify any

parents who might like to come to this assembly.

FUND RAISER ORDERS DELIVERED FOR ALL TRACKS - We want to

thank all those who sold cookie dough to help raise money for

our school. Please mark your calendar on Wednesday,

November 18^th, for that is the day that the fund raiser will be

delivered to the school for you to come pick up your orders.

Again we want to thank you for your support. We have great

patrons here at copper hills elementary.

DIVORCE EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN - There will be a Divorce Education class for

Children at Salt Lake’s Scott M. Matheson Courthouse. Children between the ages of 9

to 12 years old (3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grades) whose parents are divorced or divorcing are

welcome to come. This class helps children to identify feelings common in divorce

situations, while teaching them communication skills to express their feelings.
