THURSDAY NOTE

June 19, 2008

EXTRA EARLY DAY OUT - Wednesday, June 25^th will have our last extra

early day out. School will be dismissed at 1:20 on Wednesday and Friday of

next week.

LUNCH REFUNDS - Remaining lunch balances for the students will

automatically roll over for next year. This includes 6^th grade students going

to the Jr. High. The only students that will need to receive lunch refunds

will be students leaving the District or parents who send a written request.

SCHOOL HOURS FOR THE SUMMER BREAK - The school office

will be open to patrons during the summer between July 16^th and July

23^rd. The hours will be from 8:00 a.m. through 2:30 p.m.

MAGNET CALENDARS FOR 2008 - 2009 - We have the new magnet calendars

for next year. They will be $1.00 again. You can get them in the office.

LAST DAY OF KINDERGARTEN FOR B AND D TRACKS - Kindergarten

students will have their last day of school on Friday, June 20^th.

During the week of June 23^rd - June 27^th each student will come with

a parent for a 45 minute assessment appointment. Please be sure

that you come with your student for the appointed time with your

teacher.

B. C. and D TRACKS AWARD ASSEMBLY AND LAST DAY OF SCHOOL - B, C, and D

tracks will get out for the summer on Friday, June 27^th at 1:20 p.m. There will be an

awards assembly for all students on this day. 4^th through 6^th grade will be at

8:45 a.m. and 1^st through 3^rd grade will be at 10:30 a.m.

CLASS LISTS FOR 2008 - 2009 - We will be posting the class lists for next year the last

day of school for B, C, and D Tracks (June 27^th) after 3:00 p.m..

PLAYGROUND CONSTRUCTION - The district is putting in a new

automated sprinkling system in the back of the school. Please

do not go on the portions of the playground that are being

worked on. After the system is done, we will be getting new sod

to make the playground usable. Thanks for your cooperation.
