Barbara Homer
Mrs. Homer is the youngest of five children. Her dream as a child was to become a teacher. She grew up in Salt Lake City and lived in Germany while attending First Grade. At Olympus High School and in college she competed in swimming and tennis. She graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Elementary Education and an Associate Degree in Secretarial Skills. She worked for many years as an Executive Secretary and also worked as a swim teacher and coach.
Mrs. Homer’s top priority is her family. She has five children, three daughters and two sons. She has one adorable granddaughter. With her family she has lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Wilton, Connecticut; Denver, Colorado; Los Altos, California and now here in Salt Lake.
Mrs. Homer has been teacher at Cottonwood for six years. She loves Art and has been teaching Art to Children for 10 years. Her favorite sport is waterskiing and boating. Her hobbies include art, sewing, scrap booking, traveling and reading. She loves teaching your children here at Cottonwood!
