Mrs. Munson was born and raised in Southern Idaho. She enjoyed raising her four children near the beach in San Diego, California for six years before moving to Salt Lake City, where she attended Brigham Young University to pursue a teaching degree in elementary education. She has loved teaching fourth grade at Cottonwood since 2005. Her passion is reading, especially historical fiction. Going to book club each month embraces her love of a good book. Here are a few things she likes to do: golf, leisurely hikes, playing tennis, going to the theater, and traveling. Her most favorite travels now include going to see her three grandchildren in Southern California and two grandchildren in Honolulu, Hawaii. Other fun and interesting places she has been include Rome and Florence, Italy; Montreal, Canada; and New York City. She loves teaching at Cottonwood because the students and the parents are exceptional.
