Mrs. VanFrank began teaching first grade for Granite School District in 1977, at Whittier Elementary School. She has also taught kindergarten and first grade teaching position at Holladay Elementary School.  In 1997, Mrs. VanFrank accepted a position at Cottonwood Elementary School in first grade.

Mrs. VanFrank loves teaching students of all ages.  In addition to teaching young children, she has mentored several student teachers from several area universities, and is currently mentoring and supervising student interns from Utah Valley University.

Mrs. VanFrank has earned several degrees from the University of Utah: Bachelor of Arts; Masters of Education in Early Childhood Education; Master of Philosophy in Teaching and Learning. She is also a National Board Certified Teacher.
