My First Ancestor

You will need information about the first ancestor, that you know of, that came to America.  You will write or type a page about this ancestor.

Suggested items to include in your paper:
1.  Full name
2.  Country he/she was from
3.  Reason for coming to America
4.  What type of transportation did he/she use to get to America?
5.  Who did he/she come with?
6.  What was the trip to America like?
7.  What part of America did they settle in?
8.  Did they like America?
9.  How was America different than their home country?
10. Any information that you know of about this ancestor?  (Family, children, age, jobs, etc.)
