Family Heirlooms

Information needed:

1. What is your most treasured object? When did you get it? Who gave it to you? What is its history? What makes it valuable from your point of view?

2. Look around you and make a list of two items which are important to your way of life, and that you think will be important to the generation who will be living in the year 2131. Tell why you think each object will "withstand the test of time," or project your thoughts forward to the year 2131, and think of two inventions that will be in use then, which do not exist today. Give a brief description of these two items and illustrate each of them.

3. What do you own that you treasure the most? (If you don't treasure anything at this time, but had the opportunity to own something of "your dreams," list it as your "most treasured: for future family generations. Then tell why you want to leave this "treasure" for future family generations.
