Today I came to school feeling excited because I knew today was going to be a great day. When we hung up our backpacks, we sat down to do our self-starts. Our self-starts were pretty long because we had to name eight states in the U.S.A. that started with the letter "M". Then we went to Reading. At Reading, we did our daily language and the people who take music class went to Music. While they were gone we worked on our spelling. When they got back we didn't have very much time, so we discussed the book we are reading, Maniac Magee. After we discussed, Ms. Stott handed out an assignment and we went out to recess.

At recess, I jumped rope with Nash and Gabe. After recess, we went to Math. At Math we corrected our ADD and worksheet. Once we got our worksheets corrected, Mrs. Miller gave us at least one ton of homework. Then we were given some time to work on the homework. After Math, it was time for lunch. At lunch I had a PB&J sandwich. It was delicious! Then we went out to recess and I played with jump ropes again.

After lunch we did some experiments with magnets. As we did these experiments we also wrote down how the experiments worked. It was pretty fun. We worked on them from the time we got in from recess up until the next recess. At recess, I played with the jump ropes again.

When we got back in from recess we discussed what we would be doing at BIz Town, and how it worked. It was pretty interesting. Later on the bell rang and I collected my one ton of homework and headed out. What an exciting day at school.
