Good morning students, I want to tell you about what fun and exciting
things we did yesterday. First we took off our backpacks then we put our
stuff away in our desks. We knew the fun was about to begin. Mrs. Miller
took roll everyone was so excited to be here.
Next many of our class mates went to band and orchestra. In orchestra
the teacher taught us how to correctly hold our instruments and take extremely
good care of them. During band they actually got to play a little music.
It made me so excited to go to orchestra next time.
Then we had an assignment to write about our first week at school. As
I thought about it, we’ve already done some pretty cool things.
It was easier than I thought describing the fun things we have done, like
writing about the first day of school.
During recess Jessica, Joseph and I all played monkey in the middle. It
was a great break from our studies. It was so much fun Joseph was telling
some super funny Jokes we laughed so hard!
When we got back to our classroom we found out our next assignment was
to write a poem called I am. We had to write all this information about
ourselves and what we felt and thought about. My favorite part was drawing
a picture about what we loved the most. I really love volleyball so it
was really fun for me to share it with everyone.
After lunch and recess we returned to the classroom. Hopping we would
discover something new about science. We talked about heredity, and how
the parents give traits to their son or daughter. We also did this cool
experiment with colored puff balls that helped us understand how traits
are passed down from one generation to the next. What an amazing day at
school. I can’t wait for tomorrow.
