The day started out with the class going to our seats and doing our cursive. Before we went to Reading we did some eye testing. We also learned about heredity, states and capitals, and our favorite traits. Mrs. Miller loves to save the best for last. I mean who doesn’t love traits? We learned how animals have different traits. We finally went to reading. In reading we did a worksheet about simple subjects and corrected some skill book pages. Then it was recess time. I played jump rope with my friends. After that we went to math. We did ADD. We went to lunch next. I ate a sandwich, chips, a cheese stick and some yogurt! Yummy! Lunch recess after that of course and since it had been raining we had an indoor recess. The teachers love that! In the afternoon we studied a USA Weekly, filmed Watch Dog News and at the end of the day after another recess, outdoor this time, we got to work on the computers. What a great fifth grade day!
