We support the position that parents should oversee their children's dress so it is modest, clean, neat and appropriate for the weather conditions. Clothing should also provide protection for the student as he/she engages in the varied activities during the school day. Shorts that are moderate in length and modest are acceptable.

Clothing not permitted includes: short shorts, cut-off jeans, tank tops, halters, crop tops, belly shirts, and T-shirts with inappropriate language. As matter of courtesy and to allow teachers to maintain clear eye contact, hats are not to be worn in the school building. Students choosing to wear hats will have them impounded and will be returned only to the parent upon request.
