| Utah law requires each school to have a school community council. The responsibilities include: |
| - Developing a comprehensive plan to improve student achievement |
| - Aligning the school's plan with the District's mission, goals, and strategic plan |
| - Submitting the plan to the Granite District Board of Education yearly |

** Elections are held during the spring SEP conferences. COUNCIL MEETINGS ARE ON THE SECOND TUESDAY OF EACH MONTH AT 4:30 PM and open to all members of the community. |
