About Our School
| David
Gourley Elementary was
named after Superintendent David Gourley of Granite School District.
Superintendent Gourley served six years as a classroom teacher,
four years as a high school principal, and six years as Assistant
State Superintendent of Public Instruction. He also served for
fifteen years as Superintendent of Alpine District, before working
for the Granite School District.
