We are looking forward to a great year with an exciting curriculum. The students are excited to learn cursive writing and multiplication. Please help them practice basic facts until they are mastered. Your child's teacher has some fun ideas for math practice.

We will study the cultures of Native Americans and compare and contrast this to the cultures of the Incas of South America. Map Skills will be important tools as we learn about the geography of North and South America.

Our Science Core includes a study of Gravity, Forces of Motion, Heat and Light. We will have fun constructing simple machines.We will also learn about the moon and the earth.

We will study Communities and Economics through the Jr. Acheivement program. This is the time when we visit businesses. If your company would permit a field trip please let us know.
