Students
in grades K-6 who know how to play chess or are serious about learning
may join by bring his completed registration form to the school office
with a $10.00 annual club fee. Checks should be made payable to the "Oakwood
Chess Club". |

| Why? | Chess is a science, an art, and a sport. Playing chess is like doing mental gymnastics. It exercises both the creative and reasoning parts of our brains. Chess builds a child's intelligence. Chess develops a child's creativity. Chess teaches children to be good sports. Chess is fun! |
