3rd Grade Cub Award Requirements - Complete 13 of 18 items.

1. Have 95% attendance - no more than eight absences.
2. Maintain good citizenship - no white slips.
3. Attain multiplication mastery through 10's.
4. Participate in the science fair.
5. Spell 50 of the most often misspelled words.
6. Label 6 countries in South America.
7. Label the continents and oceans of the world.
8. Sign first and last name in cursive.
9. Read 5 out of 7 days and have parent sign in planner.
10. Pass an AR test on 2 books weekly.
11. Achieve 80% or above on Math Benchmark Assessment.
12. Score 25 or more on YPP math test.
13. Score 20 or more on YPP reading test.
14. Participate in the Reflections contest.
15. Participate in the Lightspan program.
16. Memorize and present a poem to the class.
17. Set a personal goal and work for at least 30 days to accomplish it.
18. Read 110 words per minute on DIBELS fluency test.
