5th Grade Cub Award Requirements - Complete 10 goals.

1. Have 98% attendance - no more than 3 absences.
2. Limit of 1 tardy per semester.
3. No AC room or white slips all year.
4. Attend all 3 SEP's with parents.
5. Score 20 or higher on YPP language arts test.
6. Score 24 or higher on YPP math test.
7. Complete all assigned book reports.
8. Participate in PTA Reflections contest.
9. Pass off multiplication/division facts.
10. Earn 70% or more on a CRT test.
11. Participate in Cub Chorus.
12. Participate in Band or Orchestra.
13. Complete all weekly goals for Road to Success.
14. Create a Powerpoint presentation on a social studies or science topic and present it to the class.
15. Memorize and recite the Preamble to the Declaration of Independence.
16. Memorize and recite the Preamble to the Constitution.
17. Memorize and recite the Star Spangled Banner.
18. Memorize and recite the Gettysburg Address.
19. Earn 100% on Map Test of the 50 states.
20. Participate in the school science fair.
21. Achieve a fluency rate of 124 words per minute.
22. Memorize the "I Have a Dream" speech.
23. Excellent participation in the grade level program.
24.  Complete Gold Level of Fitness Club.
25. Overall excellent citizenship for the year.
26. Maintain a "B" average.
27. Other (with teacher permission).
