5th Grade Cub Award Requirements - Complete 16 goals.

1. Have 98% attendance - no more than 3 absences.
2. No tardies.
3. No time-outs, AC room or white slips.
4. Attend all 3 SEP's with parents.
5. Score 20 or higher on YPP language arts test.
6. Score 24 or higher on YPP math test.
7. Complete 9 or more book reports.
8. Participate on Care Team all year.
9. Participate in PTA Reflections contest.
10. Pass off multiplication/division facts.
11. Earn 80% or more on a CRT test.
12. Participate in Cub Chorus.
13. Participate in Band or Orchestra.
14. Participate in Drama Club.
15. Complete all monthly goals for reading at home.
16. Return 25 missing assignment notes throughout the year.
17. Create a Powerpoint presentation on a social studies or science topic and present it to the class.
18. Memorize and recite the Preamble to the Declaration of Independence.
19. Memorize and recite the Preamble to the Constitution.
20. Memorize and recite the Star Spangled Banner.
21. Memorize and recite the Gettysburg Address.
22. Earn 100% on Map Test of the 50 states.
23. Participate in the school science fair.
24. Participate in all of the 5/6 grade school book clubs.
25. Achieve a fluency rate of 124 words per minute.
26. Memorize the "I have a dream" speech.
27. Excellent participation in the grade level program.
28. Complete Gold Level of Fitness Club.
29. Other (with teacher permission).
