This is my first year at Oquirrh Hills. I've just moved back to Salt Lake from St. George, and boy do I miss those red-rock hikes, wearing sandals year-round and swimming almost all year (minus about 2 months). It's great to be teaching 5th grade again. Science and writing are my favorite subjects to teach, but American History holds a special place in my heart, which is why I love 5th grade SO much. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree from Southern Utah University. While living in Cedar City I was able to let the Shakespearean geek inside me come to full bloom. Currently I am working on my Masters Degree in Education (so my class knows they can't complain about homework, because I have to grade theirs and do my own). I love to travel, but there is only one problem; I love to sleep in my own bed. Hmmm...maybe you can help me think of a solution to that dilemma, huh?
