Philosophy

Your behavior is your responsibility.

If you cause a problem, you are responsible for solving it
without causing a further problem for yourself or for anyone else.

Rules

  1. You will not harm yourself, others or your environment.
  2. You will respect and follow authorized adult guidance at all times.

Consequences

  1. Stop and Think: You will go quietly to the designated Stop and Think site in your classroom within 5 seconds if instructed to do so by a supervising adult. You will remain there for approximately 5 minutes.
  2. Stop and Go: You will silently gather school work and a Stop and Go form to leave immediately to report to your designated Stop and Go supervising teacher for approximately 15 minutes.
  3. If you receive a Stop and Go form, it must be signed by your parent/guardian and be returned to school.
  4. A meeting of parents, student, teacher, and principal is mandatory after receiving three Stop and Go forms.
  5. Offenses may receive a Stop and Go or a Granite School District Safe Schools Referral depending on the seriousness of the violation.
