Computers and Technology All classrooms have internet access as well as projectors that enable students to view a variety of connections to the CORE Curriculum on a large screen. Classrooms are also equipped with an enhanced microphone system that allows for teachers and students to be easily heard within the classroom. Valley Crest has a part time Systems Technology Specialist (STS). The STS provides additional assistance to teachers and students with the integration of core curriculum and technology. In addition to our instructional lab, Valley Crest has a testing computer lab where students participate weekly in Yearly Progress Pro (YPP), an online formative assessment, providing immediate feedback to students and teachers. Valley Crest also uses the testing lab for end of the year online Criteria Reference Testing (CRT) in third through sixth grades. Students and teachers have computers with internet access in each classroom.
