Mission Statement

The mission of West Kearns Elementary School is to provide
equal educational opportunities in a safe environment to all
students.  This mission includes developing academic,
technological and social skills as well as fostering successful
and productive students and families.

READING

Reading with your child for 20 minutes each night is the most effective thing you can do to improve your student's success in school.  West Kearns Elementary is strongly focused on giving our students the best reading instruction available.  We are excited to be able to implement some strong reading programs this year.  Look for more information about reading in upcoming messages.
