JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT BIZTOWN!

On April 1, 2008, Woodstock's Fifth Grade students spent the day at JA BizTown. It was AMAZING to see our kids take on the roles of adult business leaders! They were responsible, polite, hard working, and completely engaged. We were honored with a compliment from the JA staff of being the best "first-time" group they have ever had!

We offer our sincere thanks to the businesses that support the JA BizTown: Alpha Graphics, First Security Bank, Prows Construction, RC Willey, Salt Lake School District, Simmons Radio, Best Buy, Deseret News, Realators Association, KSL TV, Qwest, Rocky Mountain Power/Questar Gas, SelectHealth, and Smith's Marketplace!

Our visit to JA BizTown was free! Unfortunately, this will not be the case next year. There will be a fee of almost $700 for Fifth Graders to attend next year. We thought it would be great to “pay it forward” and solicit donations for next year. If you are willing, anything you could offer would be appreciated!
