Congratulations to the drill team who took 2nd place in Military and Dance, 1st place in Character, and 2nd place overall! Great job, ladies! Come and support your Cottonwood Cheerleaders at their State Competition, Saturday, February 4th, at Bingham High School. This is your last chance to see them compete before Nationals! Attention seniors and parents! Financial Aid experts from UHEAA will be coming to Cottonwood to assist families with submitting their FAFSA. They will be here on February 15th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Career Center. Please see this flyer for the documents you need to bring. UHEAA will also be offering scholarships to four students who complete their FAFSA with them! Looking to fill a (7th/8th) and (5th/6th) grade team (determined by the grade you will be in for the 2012/2013 school year). Come explore the wide variety of CTE classes available to students in the Granite School District There will be an OPEN HOUSE at the DISTRICT OFFICE on Thursday, February 9 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Come to the Career Center for more details. Students, you must begin carrying your school id card with you when you're on campus. They are required for basketball games, school dances, and identification. Students, do not wait until it is too late to make up your Citizenship Grades. You must have at least a 2.0 CPA to walk at graduation. Come to room 601, Monday through Thursday at 2:20 to make up your CPA. ACT Prep Classes at Cottonwood - To see the schedule for these classes click here for English, Reading, and Science Reasoning and click here for Math. Salt Lake Community College will be here Tuesday January 31st after school in the Career Center to help seniors with their college applications. Information about scholarships will also be available. ACT registration workshops will be held every Wednesday in the Career Center during lunch! Come see Lindsey Salgado, the College Access Advisor, in the Counseling Center with any questions! |
