Paul McClatchy - School Psychologist
Mr. McClatchy has been a Licensed School Psychologist in the State of Utah since 1987. A graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington in 1982, where he got his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Mr. McClatchy came to Utah and completed graduate school at Brigham Young University, Provo, where he obtain a Master's Degree in Education and a prestigious Psychological Specialist Degree. Prior to this, he coordinated and supervised mental health services for Hotline Information and Referral Service for the Tampa/St.Petersburg, Florida Bay area managed a therapeutic group home for delinquent Teenage boys called Carlton Manor. He is the father of four boys and is married to his wife Sherry. He has been involved in coaching numerous soccer teams as well as a two year stint as a firefighter for North Tooele County Volunteer Fire Department. Mr. McClatchy is the grandson of the noted developer Mr. John H. McClatchy of Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania who is credited with developing over 20,000 homes and starting a trend of the suburban shopping mall. His cousin, J.D. McClatchy, a poet and critic, is editor of The Yale Review and the poet laureate of Yale University.
