Shawn Neilson - Teacher

Shawn Neilson was born and raised in Bluffdale , Utah and graduated from Bingham High School . He attended UVSC, SLCC and BYU before graduating from the University of Phoenix with a degree is Business Management. Prior to teaching at Cyprus High, Shawn worked for 13 years at Novell, where he held several different positions in the information and network security fields. Shawn is married to Heather ( Gourley ) and resides in Riverton with their 5 children Alex , Jordan , Olivia, Benjamin and Mary. In his spare time, Shawn enjoys watching ‘Seinfeld' re-runs, hunting, fishing and enjoying the outdoors with his family as well as coaching his sons' soccer, baseball and basketball teams.
